Dark leather notebook cover. Does not contain a notebook. Leather has darker stripes of various orientations. Made out of two rectangular pieces of leather, that have been sewn together to create a thicker backing. Leather is folded in half, of the ends that meet up there is a leather tab that can be woven in to a slot on the opposite side to hold the notebook cover shut. Interior proper right side has three slots in the top layer of leather, slots go horizontality across that side. On the proper left interior side there is a horizontal slit in the top layer of leather forming a pocket to slip a notebook into. |

Victor Irvin MacGregor was born November 18, 1918, in Lennox and Addington County. His parents were Ross MacGregor and Bertha Edith McGregor (nee Bawn). At two years of age in June of 1921, Victor was living with his family in Camden Township, in addition to him and his parents his family now included a younger sister named Iva, born late 1920. In his 23rd year Victor enlisted with the Prince Edward Island Highlanders, April 17, 1941. He served both overseas and in Canada. He was discharged in 1945. It is possible that he also served with the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders, during his time in the military. He married Mildred Evelyn Marlin (1922-2012). Together they had three children Marlene, Maurice, and Gary. Victor Irvine MacGregor passed away November 20, 2005. |
