Object Story |
This is a subtle crazy quilt, made entirely of white cotton patches with white herringbone stitch embroidery surrounding each patch. Light blue quilting in braided undulating lines matches a light blue binding. The quilt was made by Henrietta Maria Wagar (nee Cole) (1861-1951) of Napanee, and later passed down to her grandson Dr. Allan Walters. One of a pair of quilts. |
