This bedspread was made in the 1930's by Mrs. John Turner. Her daughter, Ann Turner of Napanee, donated the bedspread to the museum in the 1970's. It is decorated with bouquets of flowers, created by a tufted candlewick embroidery technique, using soft cotton threads and knotted stitches. |
