Object Story |
This banner was made in 1964 by Mrs. Ronald Baker, representing the Lennox District Women's Institutes active at that time. The individual branches are listed below the Women's Institute crest. As branches dissolved, their names were covered by rectangles of yellow felt. The Lennox District Women's Institute donated the banner to the museum when it was replaced in 1993, after the Lennox District's amalgamation with the Addington District Women's Institute. |
