Object Story |
This quilted comforter was made by Mrs. James Donovan of Tamworth (nee Florence Mildred Ehret), Ontario. The interior batting is made from washed and carded wool taken from her own sheep flock. The quilt was made as a wedding gift for Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown of Enterprise, Ontario, who married in 1927. The quilt is influenced by Art Deco. |
