Object Story |
Saddle was used by William Beeman during World War One. Beeman was a graduate from the Royal Military College in Kingston, we went overseas in June 1915 to command the 9th Siege Batter, Royal Canadian Artillery. He was mentioned in the Despatches twice and won the Distinguished Service Order for bravery. He continued to serve after the end of the hostilities and did not arrive back in Canada until July 1919. |
