This dress was worn by Flossie Irene Tulloch (nee Brown) to her daughter's wedding in 1966. Flossie Irene Brown was born December 2, 1908 in Lennox and Addington County to George Albert Brown and Alice Richmond. Flossie would marry Archibald Donald Tulloch January 14, 1929, in Napanee Ontario. They proceeded to have a daughter Elizabeth Joan Tulloch, also known as Betty. At noon on October 22, 1966 in the Grace United Church, in Napanee; Betty married James Edward Gordon Harrington, son of Colborne and Marie Bella Harrington. Flossie wore the dress and jacket on that day, with a matching velveteen hat and a corsage of yellow roses. |
