Has three backboards nailed together; two side boards nailed to sides of backboard, with two small pieces at front of each side; two wooden shelves nailed to sides. Small piece of wood nailed to top of cupboard. |

Taken from the house occupied by Mr. Hugh Macdonald, father of John A. Macdonald, in the township of Adolphustown. Archibald Campbell Davis, of Lot 16, Con. 2, Adolphustown, had bought the land formerly belonging to the Macdonald family, the house was falling to pieces, and this cupboard remained. Mr. Davis took it as the only remaining souvenir over 100 years ago. |
