Object Story |
This coat was owned by Harry Sutton during the early-1900s. Henry Emerson "Harry" Sutton was born the only son to Alfred Alexander and Elizabeth (nee Wilkins) Sutton in 1885 in Newburgh. Harry then married Edna Rose Maxwell on June 20th, 1917. The two settled down in Newburgh after honeymooning in Toronto. In 1970, Harry passed away followed by Edna a year later in 1971. The two are buried with Harry's parents in Camden East Anglican Cemetery. |
