Description |
This single black and white film negative depicts the falls at Yarker on the Napanee River in January. Despite the cold weather, the river remains unfrozen and the water continues to pour over the falls. The Napanee River flows from Napanee Lake, through Yarker, Camden East, Newburgh and Napanee, and eventually into the St. Lawrence River near the Bay of Quinte and Big Bay. The photograph was published in the 1975 January 22 issue of the Napanee Beaver on page 11. |
