Description |
These two black and white negatives depict the construction of a workshop on Slash Road in Napanee. The new building was erected on the grounds of ARC industries, an association aiming to provide professional experience and accessible workstations for adults with a variety of mental disabilities. It came in the form of a pre-built structure, fabricated by Gananoque students in cooperation with the Lions Club, and was erected in Napanee by members of the Napanee Lions Club. This photograph was published on the front page of the Napanee Beaver's February 5 1975 issue. |
