These two black and white film negatives depict Peter Thielman of Napanee discussing a development project with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mallow of Napanee. Thielman (left) was one member of a committee assembled to serve as a liaison between residents of the project area. The project in question aimed to bring renovations and improvement to buildings and properties in certain neighborhoods of Napanee. Mr. and Mrs. Mallow (right and far right) were two residents of Napanee living in the area designated for improvement. In this image, Thielman can be seen pointing out some development properties and proposed changes to the Mallows at an information session, all of which are highlighted on the panel behind Thielman. The information session was held at the Napanee Town Hall. This photograph was published on the front page of the Napanee Beaver's June 11 1975 issue. |
