This file consists of 41 pages of research notes, family trees, and articles pertaining to Peter Wartman (1765-1824) and his descendants. These materials document the family from their roots in Holland from 1735 to their settlement and activities in the County of Lennox and Addington County, Ontario, Canada. Included are photocopies of letters regarding the military service of Sargeant Alvin E. Wartman during the First World War, as well as a photocopy of his military portrait and obituary. Mentioned also is the Wartman Pump, created by Charles Wartman of Colebrook in 1879.
